Traditional Hanukkah Celebration of the Women's Section and Golden Heart
on Tuesday, December 16th at 6:00 PM
in the social hall of the synagogue Sukat Shalom at the address Marshal Birjuzov 19
This time we have prepared a quality and interesting gathering with several engaging segments.
In a festive atmosphere, we will light the candles on the menorah to celebrate the third day of the holiday together.
The first segment is a workshop – our friends and favorite lecturers from Haver Serbia, Dr. Dragana Stojanović – “The Light of Hanukkah as a Manifestation of Love”
This workshop explores Hanukkah from the perspective of female figures connected to this historical story, but also addresses the customs that bring light and love into our homes and into each of us during Hanukkah.
We will get acquainted with the lesser-known aspects of this holiday, while also reminiscing about cherished customs and practices that we uphold year after year during Hanukkah. We will discuss how love is expressed through historical, customary, and everyday perspectives during the bright holiday days of Hanukkah.
Bring your curiosity and interest, and we will build a good atmosphere together!
After the inspiring workshop, our evening will be enhanced by music from Nada Popaz - Duo, Nada Popaz - vocals and Orban Zoltan – keyboards.
You will enjoy a carefully selected musical repertoire of Jazz standards, Evergreen, Pop, Rock, and Latino.
The kosher kitchen has prepared a festive buffet with traditional Hanukkah food.
Members of the Jewish Community of Belgrade of all ages are welcome to join us.
